PRESS RELEASE: Wag'N Pet Safety Gear Offered to Pet Friendly Hollywood Stars

Wag'N Enterprises, LLC announced today that it had exclusively been selected by Distinctive Assets, LLC to submit some key Wag'N Pet Safety Gear to the 2009 Hollywoof A-List Doggy Bags Event.

On Monday August 24th 2009, Distinctive Assets will be delivering special gift bags to twenty-five pet-loving stars. The Hollywood's premier celebrity gifting firm will introduce fabulous, unique and useful pet products to these stars and their loyal four-legged companions.

Recipients include Tori Spelling, Alicia Silverstone, Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin, Jai Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore, Mickey Rourke, Hayden Panettiere, Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray, Oprah Winfrey, Kathy Griffin, Katherine Heigl, Rachel Bilson, Amanda Bynes, Denise Richards, Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie, Fergie, Ellen DeGeneres, Glenn Close, Hilary Duff and Justin Timberlake.

Ines de Pablo, Wag'N owner and CEO, acknowledged that pet "safety" products have for too long implied boring and "non-trendy" products that are most often acquired "after- the-fact" instead of making them fun, fashionable, practical and yet very useful acquired "before" something bad happens.

In that spirit of changing the status quo, each celebrity will be gifted the first fashionable pet first aid kit - Wag'N Skinny Mayday Pet First Aid Kit®, one Gypsyboo® Comfort Toy, one Wag'N Pet Passport® (Dog), one of each Wag'N Alert Sticker, one copy of the Wag'N All Hazards Pet Preparedness Checklist pamphlet, one Semper Wag'N™ Bumper Sticker, informational brochures regarding the all encompassing Wag'N Rover Respond'R® Membership, as well as information on the Wag'N O2 Fur Life Program - providing pet oxygen masks to first responders across the United States and Canada. All that packaged in a children's fire hat, custom designed Pet Safety wrapping paper and "I'm Wag'N It" ribbon.

Wag'N was started to make safety fashionable, affordable and yet practical. "It all starts with making sure the pet is safe when you take it for a ride in the car - use of pet seat belts and keeping it from sticking its head out the window -ensuring that pet parents have the right gear and skills to respond to pet emergencies, to helping first responders make a difference during a pet related emergency. "If we can get pet parents to mitigate and prepare for pet related emergencies they will be less likely to need to respond inadequately to one. And let's face it, pampered pets need to remain safe to Keep It Wag'N and Bling'N," says Ines.

On June 1, 2009 Wag'N partnered with Morris Animal Foundation (MAF) Canine Cancer Campaign. Each star will have the opportunity to return part of the wrap to Wag'N in order for Wag'N to make a donation in their name to MAF.
